Proudest Foundation Moment: “Leading the already-successful Fan Fest and molding it into the Walter Camp All-American Youth Clinic has been my favorite experience with this organization so far, and I’m excited to watch it continue to evolve. As someone who was born and raised in New Haven, it’s a joy for me to see youths from our community learn valuable lessons – about football and about life – from Walter Camp All-Americans, alumnae, and elite high school coaches. My favorite time of year is working the Special Olympics and seeing the faces of the athletes as they compete.  Smiling whether they were came in first or last.  Another proud moment is when we visited a hospital and one of our players visited a sick child, and the child’s mom was gleaming with the biggest smile and the nurse said that was the first time she saw the child’s mom smile in months.” Read more
