Walter Camp Football Foundation Hosts High School “Breakfast of Champions”; Ansonia Duo Win Awards

New Haven, Conn. – As part of its 47th annual Weekend festivities, the Walter Camp Football Foundation hosted a High School “Breakfast of Champions” at Anthony’s Ocean View in New Haven.  The seventh annual event was broadcast at www.sportingnewsct.com.  Ansonia High School, the Class S champion and state’s top-ranked team, was honored along with the three other state champions – Southington (Class LL), New Canaan (Class L) and St. Joseph (Class M).

Walter Camp Foundation to Host Youth Football Clinic on January 16

On Friday, January 16th, 2015, the Walter Camp Football Foundation will host a Youth Football Clinic at the Floyd Little Athletic Center in New Haven.

The clinic is open to children ages 8 to 13, and will allow children to experience the fundamentals of football through non-contact group activities.  Connecticut high school head coaches will team up with select Walter Camp All-Americans, alumni and local college coaches to lead children through fun drills and skill development exercises, while providing motivation, inspiration, and positive role-modeling.

High School Breakfast of Champions is January 11; Coach and Player of Year Finalists and All-Connecticut Team Announced
