Walter Camp Weekend – January 14-16, 2021

Each January, New Haven, Connecticut becomes the college football capital of the world as current All Americans, alumni, NFL players and distinguished guests gather to pay tribute to the Father of American Football.  They enjoy a weekend filled with philanthropy, recognition and celebration.

Thursday, January 14, 2021

  • Stay in School Rally, sponsored by KeyBank
    • Over 2,000 middle-school-age children from area communities participate in a special program featuring Walter Camp celebrities. The speakers anchor a high energy program providing encouragement, motivation, and inspiration to the children. SITE: Floyd Little Athletic Center, New Haven
  • Connecticut Children’s Medical Center – Hospital Visit, sponsored by Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield
    • A select number of All-Americans and Alumni make a special visit to the hospital bringing gifts, signing autographs and taking pictures with the children. The athletes take tremendous pride in being able to provide such special and joyful moments to the patients.
  • Welcome Reception & Dinner, sponsored by Innovative Health Plan II & AmWins Group
    • This casual evening is a great time to meet and greet the many early arrivals for the weekend. Guests include honorees, alumni, and many former NFL players.
