Walter Camp Member Named Gold Ring Recipient

Walter Camp member and publicity chairperson Al Carbone was recognized by the New Haven Boys & Girls Club Alumni as one of their three “Gold Ring Award” recipients at its 79th annual banquet on April 29 at the Country House in East Haven.  The Gold Ring is awarded in recognition of the volunteer service that the honorees perform in the community.

Carbone, a member of the Foundation since 2001, also serves as the Commissioner of the Southern Connecticut Conference and as an adjunct professor at the University of New Haven among his activities, is a Government Relations Professional for New Haven-based UIL Holdings Corporation.  He resides in Trumbull with his wife Tracey and three children (Calyn, Maura and Nolan.)
